About Baseline

Resting Athlete

"At Baseline Psychiatry, we are passionate about helping high school, college, professional, and everyday athletes improve their performance, alleviate anxiety, and improve their sleep. Our team of experienced providers are here to help you achieve your goals and live your best life."

-Josh Hilton, Owner

We provide a range of services, including medication management, therapy, and coaching, tailored to your specific needs and goals. Our clinic is staffed with a team of highly trained professionals who are dedicated to helping you achieve your fullest potential. Our goal is to help athletes of all ages reach their athletic, academic, and professional goals.

We are 're-definers'

As a company, we want to redefine what psychiatry means and the impact to each person. We are happy to treat athletes age 14+, along with anyone who is a sports enthusiast, weekend warrior, previous athlete, professional athletes, collegiate athletes, etc. We redefine what Psychiatry should be, starting with tailoring plans to YOU. Our redefinition involves integrating a more holistic approach, minimizing excess, goal setting, and empowering you to be as successful as you want to be. Your success is our success.

Things to expect your 1st visit:
  • Exercise on the first visit. You WILL get a mini workout unless you opt out.

  • Biometrics - 12 lead EKG screening, heart rate screening, BMI, blood pressure, orthostatic screening - fundamentals in pharmacology.

  • Complete psychiatric examination - History and physical, background, and current lifestyle.

  • Tailored goal setting - every athlete is different, so should your goals. At Baseline, we will be as integral to your success as you are.

  • Collaboration - The goal is a team - centered approach; this means staying in contact with coaching staff, interdisciplinary teams and yourself as appropriate to ensure your success.

  • A culture of winning - Ultimately the goal is to be productive and win. Winning has a variety of meanings, but winning with athletics means winning with your mental health.

How is this different?

If you're an athlete or someone who enjoys sports and decide to seek out assistance, you will find that the moment you walk in our door, you'll feel at home. We are not a typical psychiatry office. Our goal is to ensure that whatever medications and management might be prescribed, we don't get in the way. We aim to comply with the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA), maintain your goals for BMI, tailor our care to meet your needs and ultimately be better for YOU. Psychiatry should be considered as holistically important as cardiology, nephrology, gastroenterology and everything else. You get access to your data, prescription regimen, plan of care, and increased access to your provider(s).
