How are we similar/different to concierge psychiatry offices?

Concierge - Based Model

The use of "buzzwords"

Things like "exclusive" and "comprehensive" assessment are commonly used as buzzwords, often misleading on what they may be completing.

Fees

Average Concierge MD/DO/NP can vary, but anywhere from $400-$600 an hour is typical. Some will offer a "retainer fee". All of this typically is to avoid the documentation for insurance purposes - something they should be documenting anyway.

They will offer you tests at higher prices. Also, typically there's more of a sales pitch.

Things like 'genetic testing', and other options that companies with insurance coverage can also offer - oftentimes covered by insurance.

Baseline - Based Model

We offer the same quality of care.

The goal is your success. We understand that your success is our success, which is not different than concierge medicine models. Guess what? We still offer a comprehensive evaluation at 60-90 minutes and actively ask questions, finding out what might work, and tailor the care to you. They claim 'waiting less time' - we dedicate several hours of the day for emergencies in a similar fashion.

Fees

Our fee - your copay. We offer sliding scale for anyone not in our coverage. We are also on the list for AHCCCS coverage, further expanding our availability.

Thorough Services

Just like concierge medicine, our offices have capability to not just 'find a prescription that works', but also work holistically and collectively with our patients. But, again, a fraction of the cost.
